Quick answer: The Moab Folk Festival runs Friday, November 6 through Sunday, November 8, 2026, on Center Street in downtown Moab. Both Star Hall nights are sold out, but Ballfield passes ($80 a day, $150 for two days) were still listed on November 1. All sales are final, so confirm availability first.

The festival mixes ticketed shows at Star Hall and the Center Street Ballfields with free jams, workshops and a Friday concert at the Helipad. Use this guide to pick a ticket, find the free events and plan parking and lodging for one of the busiest weekends of Moab's late fall.

Local tip: Skip the car. Downtown parking is very limited, and everything from Star Hall to the Helipad is within a short walk of Center Street, so book lodging you can walk from and save the driving for daytime park trips.

Moab Folk Festival schedule, November 6 to 8, 2026

Two ticketed venues sit a block apart on Center Street, and a third set of shows is free. Set times can change, so check the festival schedule on the day.

Which ticket suits your trip

  • Outdoor music all day: the Ballfield pass. It is general admission outdoors, rain or shine, so dress for November. Moab Canyonland Airport averages roughly a 54°F high and 27°F low this month (NOAA normals), and shade comes early.
  • An indoor night show: Star Hall, but both nights are sold out. Your options are the resale partner or the free Helipad concert on Friday evening.
  • Two full days: the $150 two day Ballfield pass beats two single day passes by $10.
  • A tight budget: the free events table above covers jams, a story hour, workshops and a Friday concert. You can fill a day without a ticket.
  • Not a good fit: anyone traveling with a pet (animals are not allowed at any venue) or anyone who wants a covered seat all day. Low chairs and blankets go in the front area; full size chairs go behind the line.

Temperatures: NOAA monthly normals for Moab Canyonland Airport, via the Climate Charts site, checked November 1, 2026. Individual days run warmer or colder.

Parking, getting around and where to stay

The festival says downtown parking is very limited and suggests walking, biking or using your hotel shuttle. Both ticketed venues, the Helipad and The Press are on Center Street, so a room within walking distance of Main Street saves the most hassle.

This is also the weekend of the Moab Trail Marathon, which starts at Kane Creek on Saturday morning, so lodging is tight. Browse Moab lodging early, and compare hotels and motels for walkable locations.

Keep planning on Expedia

Friday evening has another option before the show: the November Art Walk fills downtown Main Street from 5 to 8 pm (Moab Sun News calendar, checked October 31).

What to do around the music

The Ballfields open at 10 am with music from 11, so Friday and the first part of Saturday and Sunday are open for the parks. Arches did not require timed entry reservations in 2026, so you can enter any time with a valid pass; the Fiery Furnace permit and Devils Garden campsites still need reservations (NPS Arches, checked November 1, 2026). A private vehicle pays $30 for seven days.

NPS lists winter highs of 30 to 50°F at Arches and says shaded trails can stay icy, so carry traction on early morning hikes.

How to get tickets

  1. Open the festival ticket page and check which Ballfield passes are still available.
  2. Choose a single day or the two day pass. The VIP pass does not include Star Hall in 2026.
  3. Add Eventbrite fees at checkout and keep your confirmation. Sales are final.
  4. For Star Hall, use the resale partner Tixel that the festival links from its ticket page.
  5. Pick up your wristband, wear it all weekend, and arrive early because parking is limited.

What we could not confirm: the exact Eventbrite fee amounts, and the age rules for kid's tickets (the ticket page says both that ages 11 to 15 need a ticket and that ages 15 and up buy adult tickets). Ask the festival at info@moabfolkfestival.com or 435 260 1756.
